Proceedings of the Latsis Foundation 2nd International Summer School have concluded on July 15th 2010. The course was the output of the collaboration between John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and the Oceanographic Institute of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). 28 young scientists from 20 research and academic institutions of 12 Mediterranean countries followed a programme of 77 hours of lectures and presentations delivered by 26 internationally renowned scientists from Greece and abroad. Additionally they received 24 hours of practice on board the research vessel “AEGAEO” of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research.
