The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation has been supporting since 2009 the annual Summer School of the Laboratory of Cognitive and Experimental Economics, organized by the Economics and Management Department of the University of Trento, Italy. The programme is addressed to doctoral, post-doctoral and other young researchers.
The 19th Trento Summer School, entitled ‘Macroeconomics after the Financial Crisis: Looking Ahead’ will be held between June 4th and 15th 2018 in Trento. This year’s Summer School will be led by professors Axel Leijonhufvud (UCLA), Martin Guzman (Columbia University) and Daniel Heyman (Buenos Aires University). Among the scholars are Jonathan Ostry (IMF), Dorothee Rouzet (OECD), Alp Simsek (MIT), Richard Koo (Nomura Institute, Japan), Marcus Miller (University of Warwick) and many others.
As is the case every year, the Foundation has secured two seats for Greek doctoral, post-doctoral and other researchers, provided that they meet the criteria set by the organizers, that are solely responsible for the candidate selection. The Foundation’s grant fully covers all accommodation and maintenance costs for the duration of the Summer School.
