SOCIAL ACTION & SOLIDARITY
The support of socially innovative projects that promote social inclusion of vulnerable social groups and contribute to the fight against exclusion and inequality remains at the very core of the Foundation’s activity. In an effort to respond effectively to current complex social issues, the Foundation designs and implements programmes and initiatives aimed at equal participation of all people in social life as well as the upgrading of the infrastructure and equipment of healthcare service providers in Greece. At the same time, by supporting capacity building activities for civil society organisations, the Foundation aims to promote networking and transparency in the Third Sector, and to contribute to further strengthening the ecosystem. The Foundation is always open to joining forces with public and private actors to help better manage crises and emergencies, through the design and implementation of ad hoc programmes that address the impact of any crisis and provide relief to affected social groups.
