Since 2008, the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation has been issuing an annual call for the “Scientific Projects” programme (see here); the Foundation’s main initiative in supporting the Greek scientific community. The programme has assisted scientific groups from almost every Greek research and academic Institution, Greek scientists residing abroad as well as independent groups.
This years’ 26 selected projects mark the ending of the 8-year “Scientific Projects” programme cycle. The funding of science and research shall not cease, rather will be implemented through new programmes to be announced in the immediate future.
