Τhe John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, continuing, for the seventh year, its initiative of promoting scientific research in Greece, welcomes proposals for original studies with annual duration for the year 2014 in all scientific fields.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The project should be original and completed withn 2014.
The proposal should not be part of a doctoral thesis or a postgraduate thesis.
The proposal should be submitted by a team (max. 5 members) of scholars with a lead coordinator.
Each coordinator and researcher can only participate in one study group and each group can submit only one proposal.
The project should not be co-funded by other bodies.
FUNDING
The Foundation will grant funding for a maximum of 20 projects, for the amount of €12.000 per project including all types of deductions, taxes, dues etc.
More specifically, for the year 2014 the Foundation has decided to distribute funding between the following two categories:
Α. ''Scientific Projects 2014 – General Programme'' for teams that include researchers of all ages.
Β. ''Scientific Projects 2014 – Young Researchers'' for teams of researchers under the age of 40 (coordinator and all team members) with a particular emphasis on the participation of post-doctoral researchers.
EVALUATIONS - SELECTION
Proposals will be evaluated by a special Scientific Committee of the Foundation.

Interested parties should only submit their application through the online system.

Announcement of Results: Tuesday 31 October 2013
Project Start Date: 2 January 2014
