The aim of the educational activity implemented at the 9th Primary School of Alexandroupolis was to introduce students to the causes and consequences of climate change as well as possible solutions.
Students were taught in their classroom. Subsequently, they would search information online, carry out simulations and watch videos in the computer lab. Where necessary, they would go to the physics and chemistry lab and observe or conduct experiments related to this topic, such as a CO2 production experiment or an experiment demonstrating that air has mass. As a result, the students learned about the different scientific views on climate change and realised the magnitude of the problem.
38 students from the 5th grade of primary school and 3 teachers took part in this educational activity.
