Master's degree programme “Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Organization and Management of Olympic Events”

The devastating fires that affected much of the country in August 2007 led the Foundation in the design and implementation of the program "It is our duty", the main axes of which was on the one hand the restoration of fire-stricken areas and on the other hand the prevention of similar situations in the future.

In this context, among other activities, the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and Eurobank EFG funded the establishement of the the Master's Degree Programme of the University of the Peloponnese and the International Olympic Academy entitled "Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Organisation and Management of Olympic Events” and covered the three first years of its operation.
